SALMAN RECEIVES SPECIAL OLYMPICS AWARD

Emir of Riyadh Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz received the 2009 Special Olympics international award Tuesday from the Special Olympics Regional President in the Middle East and North Africa, Ayman Abdulwahhab. Prince Salman received the award for his continuous efforts in the service of the disabled in the Kingdom and his support and encouragement of scientific research in disability. President of Youth Welfare and head of the Special Needs Sports Federation, Prince Sultan Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, and Chairman of the Disabled Children's Association and the Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Center for Disability Research, Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, attended the event.
