Participants in the 24th conference for Latin America and Caribbean Sea countries on Scientific Inimitability of the holy Quran and Prophet's Sunna (sayings and deeds of Prophet Mohammed) expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince for the distinguished efforts the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was exerting in the service of Islam and the spread of its mission on the bases of moderation in addition to its support for Islamic centers and associations all over the world. Participants in the conference, which concluded its deliberations here today, also expressed appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques initiative for dialogue among followers of different religions and cultures and lauded the positive results derived in this concern, hoping that this activity would cover Latin America in general and Brazil in particular. They recommended the publishing of Quran's inimitability into Spanish and Portuguese languages, widely spread in Latin America, and the teaching of the subject at the intermediate and secondary levels. The conferees also called for exchange of visits between Islamic centers in Latin America and other universities, holding of exhibitions and delivery of lectures. They also called for convening an international conference on scientific inimitability of the holy Quran. A number of Saudi intellectuals took part in the two-day event.
