The Supreme Council of Magistracy held here today a meeting presided over by its Chairman Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid. The Council's Secretary-General Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Yahya said the Council expressed its thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for supporting the judiciary, noting that the new building became a landmark reflecting the state's attention to and support for the judiciary. He pointed out that the Council reviewed the results of 1st Forum of Judges held under the patronage of the King and expressed its appreciation of the King for supporting the Forum last month, calling on the Council's General Secretariat to start forming committees for preparation of the next Forum. Sheikh Al-Yahya said that the Council decided to establish trade courts and to open appellate courts in a number of cities in addition to training 1,197 judges within the framework of the annual training plan for the year 1431H.
