Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Hazzaa, official spokesman of the Ministry of Culture and Information, today denied press reports that a novel for a Saudi writer was withdrawn from the ongoing Riyadh International Book Fair. The spokesman demanded Al-Hayat newspaper, which carried the news, and other media should become accurate in what they publish and refrain from untrue reports that throw confusing signals on the event. He said the novel "Tarmi bi Sharar", which means "throwing sparks", authored by Abdou Khal, is available at the exhibition for buyers, noting that the aim of the fair is to avail intellectuals and literates of this opportunity to read the latest publications in the Kingdom.
