Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja today launched the Senegalese Cultural Days at King Abdulaziz Cultural Center in Jeddah. The Minister toured the exhibition on the sidelines of the event, including album of photographs, plastic arts collection, jewelry, and traditional costumes and handicrafts. A speech ceremony was held to mark the event. In a key address, Dr. Khoja welcomed Senegal's Minister of Culture Dr. Mohammed Bu Sali and the accompanying delegation, wishing them a good stay in the Kingdom. He said the event provided a rare chance for the Saudi people to get first-hand acquaintance to the Senegalese culture and legacy. For his part, Bu Sali expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Saudi Government, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to the Senegalese delegation. He also thanked Dr. Khoja for his role in enhancing cultural ties between the two countries.
