Two earthquakes jolt Melonguane, Talaud District, North Sulawesi Province, on Wednesday morning. The first earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale shook 44 km southeast of Melonguane, at 7.41 am local time. The temblor's epicenter was 3.60 degrees northern latitude, and 127.02 degrees eastern longitude at a depth of 20 km below sea level, ANTARA reported. The second temblor measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale rocked 59 km southeast of Melonguane, at 6.18 am local time. The quake's epicenter was 3.80 degrees northern latitude, at a depth of 20 km under seabed.
