Head of Indian companies' delegation on a visit to the Kingdom asked Saudi Businessmen to invest in mining field and take advantage of vast opportunities in India to achieve Saudi-Indian partnership in that field. The Indian head of the delegation pointed out, during a meeting organized by Riyadh Chamber of Commerce here today, in the presence of biggest Indian companies and investment houses' representatives, that this big delegation is a sign of Indian keenness to boost bilateral trade exchange. Indian economy is still positively growing regardless of impact of the world crisis, he said. Investment in the two countries kept growing through the past 5 years and the two sides are still seeking to promote bilateral scale of mutual investment, he added. On his part, Riyadh Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Abdularahman Al-Jiraisi said that Saudi businessmen are keen too to promote bilateral trade exchange citing that India is the 5th biggest trade partner to the Kingdom on both import and export scales. The Kingdom is undergoing an economic boom and is seeking partners to take part in development process and wished that import and export levels between the two countries would be boosted he concluded. -- SPA
