Yemeni ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Ali Al-Ahwal has underlined the significance of the conference of Yemen's Donor Countries due to be hosted by Riyadh. "The conference is highly important in view of the fact that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia occupies the first position as a major partner of development in Yemen and it is in the forefront in enhancing the pillars of security and stability in the region. The other fact is that this development comes as complementary to the decisions earlier taken by the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to boost Yemeni economy. In statement to The Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he noted that the GCC states had supported Yemen at the conference of donors in London. "Moreover, Yemen is a member of some of the organs of the GCC." --MORE
