World Health Organization (WHO) awarded Abha, a city located in southern of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a certificate recognizing it as a healthy city. Mayor of Assir Region, Hamdan bin Faris Al-Asaimi today received the certificate from WHO, which considered Assir Governorate as a founding member of the Standards of Healthy Cities Program. In awarding the certificate, WHO said that Assir Region deserved this certificate for its exerted efforts to make Abha, a healthy city. -- SPA
