Ministry of Culture and Information studies holding book fair in Jeddah

Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja disclosed today that his ministry is planning to hold a book fair in Jeddah, denying that it would be substitute for Riyadh International Book Fair which, he confirmed, would be held as scheduled on the 2nd of March, 2010.
Following an opening ceremony of a Plastic Arts Exhibition, Dr. Khoja said the Ministry circulated the information to all publishers and printing houses in the Kingdom to take part in the exhibition in Jeddah which, he said, will accommodate more than 250,000 titles.
Dr. Khoja expressed admiration of the 8th personal plastic arts exhibition for Mohammed Al-Shahdi, a Moroccan artist, which contained 40 pieces of artistic works.
