U.S. President Barack Obama travels to Lanham, Md., later today to visit a business-labor training center and discuss investments in the economy. After touring the jobs training center at the IBEW Local 26 headquarters, Obama will deliver comments on investments that are planned to create jobs and move the country to a low-carbon economy, the White House was quoted as saying by the United Press International (UPI). Obama's visit to the Lanham area had been scheduled for January but was canceled after the Haitian earthquake struck, The Baltimore Sun reported.
