U.S. President Obama to Meet Haitian President Next Week

U.S. President Barack Obama will meet visiting Haitian President Rene Preval next week, the White House announced Friday.
The two leaders will meet Wednesday ahead of an Obama trip to Saint Louis, Missouri, the White House said.
A January 12 earthquake devastated Haiti and killed about 200,000 people. The United States has played an active role in rebuilding the country, with former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton leading U.S. fundraising efforts to help the impoverished Caribbean country.
