Storm warning issued in Dagestan

A storm warning has been issued in Russia's North Caucasian region of Dagestan located in the Caspian littoral area.
“February 13, gale blowing a 30 meters per second /mps/ to 33 mps is expected between 20:00 hours and 23:00 hours in the Republic of Dagestan and in the Middle Caspian sector,” sources at the Dagestani branch of the Ministry for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense said.
The wind will be most southwestern in the zone of the sea and southeastern in the mountains, Itar-Tass reported.
Weather forecasts predict a rise of seawaves to 3.5 meters to 3.8 meters.
