Under the patronage of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General; Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation for Military Affairs, inaugurated here today the exhibition of the armed forces for materials and spare parts-2010. On arrival at the venue, Prince Khalid Bin Sultan was welcomed by General Salih Al-Mohaya, the Chief of Staff, and a number senior military officials. Speaking on the occasion, Lt. General Abdul-Rahman bin Fahd Al-Faisal, the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces, said the show aims at enabling the local manufacturing companies and private sector to get acquainted with the requirements of the armed forces as regards materials and spare parts which can be locally manufactured. He underscored the importance of implementing investment projects and the contribution of the private sector to the development of the national economy.
