Director General of Department for General Statistics and Information Mahanna bin Abdulkarim Al-Mahanna explained here today, in a press conference, that the Department has begun since the issuance of the Cabinet's decision in 1423 to implement the General Census for Population and Houses in 2010, effecting preliminary steps to carry it out by forming a panel for census project and drafting a master plan explaining the tasks and requirements to actualize the census. The press conference took place after the Minister of Economy and Planning has launched the practical counting stage by outlining zones of work for inspectors. -- SPA
