A strong 5.7 magnitude earthquake rocked Saumlaki, Maluku province on Sunday at 04.26 Western Indonesia Standard time or WIB, but there were no damage to buildings or injuries immediately reported. The quake occurred at 7.89 south latitude and 130.62 east longitude at a depth of 69 km and at a distance of 78 km west of the Saumlaki sea, information obtained from the meteorological, climatology and geophysics agency said. However, the earthquake did not have potential to trigger a tsunami, ANTARA reported.
