Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region patronized here today the launching ceremony of Prince Salman Chair for upgrading capabilities of General Presidency for Commissions for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (CPVPV) Staff at Al-Imam University After the signing ceremony, Prince Salman delivered a speech in which he explained the importance of promotion of virtue and prevention of vice in any society, pointing to the need to apply the Islamic application of such noble rituals as prescribed by Allah Almighty. He also asserted the importance of this effort, praising the complementary efforts of CPVPV and Al Imam University, that would result in holding sessions and work programs for the benefit of the field works of CPVPV. On his part, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Himain Al-Himain, President-General of CPVPV explained that launching of this chair is an extension of the support of the government of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in promoting an important Islamic application for the service of Islam and Muslims.
