Minister of Economy and Planning, Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Qusaibi announced Cabinet approval on the starting time of general population and housing Census, Kingdom wide on Tuesday evening corresponding to April 27th, for the year 1431 H 2010 AD. In accordance to statistical norms, all data of individuals with regards to their numbers, main characteristics, i.e., age, nationality, marital status and educational level etc will be registered. The process is in accordance to a resolution of the Supreme Council of GCC states leaders in its 22nd session to run a census within 2010 simultaneously. In the meantime, The Central Department Of Statistics & Information CDSI has taken the appropriate steps to actualize the general population and housing census as per prescribed. -- SPA
