Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, the Minister of Higher Education, opened here today the 3rd Forum for the Saudi Cultural Attaches. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Al-Anqari underlined the importance of enhancing contacts with the students who are on scholarships and providing them with all possible facilities. He urged the Cultural Attaches to work for giving a good impression about the higher education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr Al-Anqari reiterated the importance of applying the unified electronic system for offices of the Cultural Attaches. Later, Dr Ali Al-Atiyyah, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, reviewed with the Cultural Attaches issues of mutual interest. The participants of the meeting, which will conclude tomorrow, will review a number of social and legal affairs pertaining to the students on scholarships in addition to the administrative and financial problems. It is worth mentioning that the number of Saudi students on foreign scholarships amounts to 80,000.
