Eight people were killed and 13 missing after floods inundated villages on Indonesia's Sulawesi island, a health official said Saturday. Dozens of homes were swept away by the floods that struck early Friday following heavy rain in the North Kolaka district of South-East Sulawesi province, said Rustam Pakaya, head of the Health Ministry's crisis centre. Heavy rains have caused flooding in several Indonesian provinces this month, leaving at least 14 people dead before Friday, local media was quoted as reporting by the German Press Agency "DPA".
