The First Arab Forum on for Technological and Vocational Training and Labor Market's Needs concluded its deliberations here today. The three-day event, organized by the General Corporation for Technological and Vocational Training in collaboration with the Arab Labor Organization, issued Riyadh Document for Technological and Vocational Training, including the Arab Strategy for Technological and Vocational Training aiming at achieving equilibrium between offer and demand of labor force and meeting the needs of the changing Arab labor market. In a statement following the meeting, Ahmed Luqman, Secretary General of the forum, said the attendees discussed a number of issues related to creation of jobs, technological and vocational training programs and their relations with the needs of labor market. For his part, the Governor of the General Corporation for Technological and Vocational Training Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghufais, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for patronizing this forum, a gesture for the monarch's interest in supporting technological and vocational training. Studying the Saudi, Jordanian and Tunisian experiments, the forum cast light on the joint vocational standards drawn from the three lessons.
