UN envoy: Somalia conflict has global dimension

United Nations special envoy to Somalia Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah said the conflict in the Horn of Africa nation was
increasing being a global problem, Somalia media reported Sunday, according to dpa.
"The crisis can no longer be ignored," broadcaster Radio Garowe
quoted Ould-Abdallah as saying.
In his latest report for the United Nations Security Council, the
UN envoy however spoke of considerable progress made by the
transitional government of Sheikh Sharif Ahmed.
