Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) has announced that it has supplied all its students with brand new free laptops to facilitate communication and enhance their productivity on and off campus at all times, in a campaign called "Stay connected". Laptops have become an essential tool for modern academia; students can interact with their professors in accordance to the most high-tech and international practices. Students can also retain information and retrieve it when needed as well as access wireless internet at any given place or time, and remain mobile on or off campus. This "Stay connected" initiative will directly contribute to boosting their knowledge intake and allow them convenience when studying or preparing research papers, according to the UAE news agency "WAM". Dr. Mohammed Al-Mualla, KUSTAR's Interim Provost commented: "At KUSTAR, we're keen on attracting the best students by offering scholarships for young men and women of all nationalities as well as monthly stipends to UAE Nationals and honor students. KUSTAR is also committed to providing our students with all the necessary tools to enhance their academic, scientific and research performance, and this campaign will boost their technical competence as well as their research acumen."
