Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia holds press conference

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period from January 12 to 14, 2010 at the invitation of Prince Saud Alfaisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries as well as the international and regional issues of common interest, the Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom Yang Honglin has announced.
The Chinese Ambassador added that "The year 2010 is of a particular importance to both China and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in which we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries".
Yang Honglin made these remarks during a news conference held here earlier today.
