Under Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information Dr Abdul-Aziz Al-Subaiel said the Guest of Honor of this year"s Riyadh International Book Fair will be Senegal. He noted that he had recently reviewed with Senegalese ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Dodolo arrangements pertaining to the participation of Senegal in the book fair. Meanwhile, the ambassador has expressed happiness over Senegal"s participation in the Book Fair and said it will enable visitors of the Fair to get acquainted with the culture and heritage of Senegal. The fair will include cultural lectures as well as a pavilion for Senegal's heritage and culture. As many as 550 publishing houses have requested participation in the Fair scheduled for opening on March 01, 2010.
