Seven people were killed and two seriously injured in a road accident in south Taiwan"s Kaohsiung County Sunday, Xinhua quoted local media as reporting. A bus carrying nine people collided with a gravel truck in Neimen Township in Kaohsiung at about 2 p.m., the report said. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, but seven died despite emergency treatment and two still in coma, the police were quoted as saying. The truck driver, who survived the accident, said the bus suddenly went against the traffic and rammed into his truck, the report said. The unnamed truck driver was brought to police station for further investigation, according to the report.
