Saudi newspapers focused in their editorials today on the statement of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior and Chairman of Supreme Hajj Committee in a press conference held in Makkah on Sunday. In their editorials, Al-Bilad, Al-Nadwah, Al-Madinah, Al-Jazirah, and Al-Yaum newspapers said that at the outset of the conference Prince Naif welcomed pilgrims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, confirming the happiness of the Kingdom"s government and people over the honor bestowed upon them by Allah Almighty to serve pilgrims and to provide them with all facilities to perform their Hajj rituals easily and comfortably. The papers noted that the services and facilities provided for pilgrims have been resulted from continuing preparations since the end of last year"s Hajj season, pointing out that pilgrims have clearly witnessed these services since their arrival in the Kingdom until their departure home safely and adding that this year"s services and facilities will be distinguished. They indicated that Prince Naif emphasized the necessity of enlightenment of pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform their hajj rituals easily and comfortably, as awareness among pilgrims has been an integral and important part of dealing with the tremendous efforts exerted by the Kingdom in the service of pilgrims.
