The Islamic International Relief Organization (IIRO) has organized a medical campaign to fight Cataract in Daura City, Katsina State, Nigeria. A medical team, consisting of four Ophthologists from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Pakistan, conducted the initial examination for more than 2,000 cases. The expected number of patients to undergo surgical operation is 500. Speaking on this occasion, the Campaign General Supervisor and IIRO Health Care Director Dr. Azizullah Khojah said that the campaign emanates from the Kingdom"s keenness to serve Muslim and world peoples in the field of fighting blindness.
