Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohamed Al Al-Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Council of Senior Ulema (Islamic scholars) and Department of Scientific Research and Religious Edicts (IFTA), lauded here today Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz"s World Award for Prophet"s Sunnah and Islamic Contemporary Studies, in its 4th session, and Prince Naif Appreciative Award for Serving Prophet"s Sunnah in its 2nd session. Commenting on the occasion of holding the final ceremony of the prize tomorrow, the Grand Mufti said Saudi Arabia has been given men who promote virtue and prevent vice and who are rekindling the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. Earlier, Dr. Said Orabi Al-Harthi, Secretary General of Prince Naif Award, commented on the occasion of the final ceremony of the award saying that the noble patronage of Prince Naif of the final ceremony is an embodiment of the interest and care he pays to Allah"s Holy Book and the Prophet"s Sunnah, appreciation for scholars and efforts exerted by individuals and institutions to serve Sunnah and its sciences.
