The general assembly of the Arab countries broadcasting union began a meeting here today. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Engineering Affairs and head of the union Dr. Riyadh Kamal Najm. The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led by Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Radio Affairs Ibrahim bin Ahmad Alsoqa"oob. During the meeting, the Saudi radio was honored for winning three prizes in the field of radio exchange and programs.
