The 28th ordinary session of the general assembly of the Arab States Broadcasting Union was concluded here today under the chairmanship of Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Engineering Affairs Dr. Riyadh Kamal Najm, the head of the union. The meeting issued decisions supporting the celebration of Alquds as the Arab Cultural Capital for 2009; approving the charter of television program exchanges and the final accounts of the union for 2007 and other issues concerning the activities of the union. The meeting congratulated Saudi Arabian Radio Station for winning the Radio Exchanges Prize for 2008. The meeting condemned the Israel's aggression against Gaza. The participants in the meeting thanked the Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Madani for supervising the opening of the session and hosting the meetings. They also thanked the Ministry of Culture and Information for the hospitality.
