Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, contributed to the strengthening of Saudi relations with countries of the world through the his visits to those countries. He also led Saudi delegations at a number of international occasions. Crown Prince Sultan led the Saudi delegation to the meeting of the United Nations in 1985 and delivered an important speech on the occasion. He also led the Saudi delegation that participated in the celebrations of the United Nations on its 50 anniversary in October 1995. In this report, the Saudi Press Agency sheds light on the most prominent activities carried out by the Crown Prince since 1 August 2005, when he assumed the post of the Crown Prince. The Crown Prince led the Saudi delegation to a meeting of the General Assembly of the UN on 12 September 2005 in New York. On 16 November 2005, the Crown Prince chaired a talks session in Egypt with Egyptian premier. The Crown Prince paid visits to Japan, Singapore, Pakistan, Yemen, France, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Kuwait, Russia, Qatar and Spain.
