The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has notified the Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa that it has deposited $500 million in the private account of the initiative of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah aiming at providing necessary financial resources to support Arab small and medium enterprises with a capital of two billion dollars. In a similar message to Moussa, Abdullatif Al-Hamad, the President of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, also confirmed the Saudi contribution. This Saudi payment comes in compliance with the decisions of the Arab Economic, Social and Development Summit held in Kuwait on last January. --SPA
