The General Presidency For The Holy Mosque & Prophet Holy Mosque Affairs has provided the Holy Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah with 5,000 wheelchairs for disabled and elderly pilgrims, the Arabic Newspaper "OKAZ" reported. The director of the presidency's Wheelchairs Department Mash'hoor Al-Manami said the presidency has designated 20 entrances for special needs persons. These are King Abdul Aziz, new Ajyad, Hunain, Al-Safa, Al-Marwa, Al-Qarara, Al-Fatah and Al-Madina gates, in addition to Al-Arqam, Al-Marwa, Murad, Al-Qararah elevators; Al-Madina and Al-Nadwa bridges and gates 64, 74, 84 and 94, according to the report published today by the Jeddah-based Saudi Gazette.
