Saudi newspapers published today commented editorially on current local and Arab issues. Locally, the newspapers commented on the infiltration by armed men inside the kingdom and highlighted military successes by the Saudi Armed Forces in clearing Saudi territories of all hostile elements. The newspapers also lauded the bravery shown by the Saudi Army and the determination to deter any attempts of infiltration. The newspapers also commented on the preparations taking place in Makkah in preparation for this year"s Hajj season and efforts exerted by relevant governmental organizations to insure that pilgrims perform their religious duties with ease and comfort. Regionally, the newspapers commented on the stalled negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis blaming the current stalemate on the lack of seriousness on the behalf of world parties involved in the peace process in bringing about peace and stability to the region. -- SPA
