Saudi newspapers editorially commented on local, Arab and international issues. The newspapers recalled the message by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas saying the message contributed to the success achieved by the Fatah congress. The newspapers highlighted the great Saudi support for the Palestinian people. On Israeli anti-peace stand, the newspaper urged the US administration to exert pressure on Israel toward achieving peace in the region.
