A total of 150 Indonesian military personnel as reinforcement of the Indonesian contingent in the UN peacekeeping force in South Lebanon (UNIFIL) have arrived in South Lebanon, ANTARA reported. The 150 military personnel were added to the UN peacekeeping force in South Lebanon (UNIFIL) to support security and stability in the region. The Indonesian troops in the UN peace-keeping force were called TNI Mechanical Company Garuda XXIII-C1/UNIFIL Contingent. "With the arrival of the additional troops, the number of TNI personnel participating in the UN mission in southern Lebanon has reached 1,298 ," Task Force information officer XXIII-C/UNIFIL Lt Col Mulyanto told ANTARA through electronic mail today. --SPA
