In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to provide relief aid to Philippines to alleviate the suffering of people affected by the hurricane that recently hit northern Philippines, the second Saudi relief plane arrived at Manila Airport on Monday. The plane was loaded with 100 tons of blankets, rugs, tents, foodstuffs and medical supplies. Its consignment was received by Saudi Ambassador to Philippines Mohammed Amin Wali and a number of Philippine officials. In a statement to The Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi Ambassador said that the Governors of Philippines" Governorates affected by the hurricane asked him to convey their thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for the urgent delivery of this humanitarian assistance.
