Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Minster of Interior has reiterated that the march of the joint work of the Gulf Cooperation Council will not be hampered by the lack of signature by any State on the security pact between the GCC countries. In press comment to reporters after arriving in Riyadh from Muscat where he led the Saudi delegation to recently concluded GCC Interior Ministers 28th periodical meeting, Prince Ahmed said "Kuwait is the only state that did not sign the pact. What I have understood is that the matter has been referred to the Kuwaiti Parliament, so the delay is not from the government, but I am hopeful that the pact is on the way to be signed. All other states signed the security strategy pact, some of them are still in the process of completing the necessary official documentation procedures". --MORE
