Immigrant boat sinks in Greece, at least 6 drown

Greek authorities say a small boat carrying illegal immigrants has hit rocks and sunk off the eastern Aegean island of Lesvos and at least six people have drowned.
A coast guard statement says rescuers have located 10 survivors and are seeking two further people reported missing.
The accident occurred around 8 a.m. (0600 GMT; 2 a.m. EDT) Tuesday, when the small vessel smashed into rocks in the Korakas area on Lesvos" northeastern coast in heavy seas, the coast guard was quoted as saying by The Associated Press.
