Saudi newspapers published today commented editorially on many local, Arab and international issues. Locally, the newspapers highlighted the role of the imams of mosques in explaining moderation in Islam and tolerance of Islam. The newspapers mentioned the world support for the international initiatives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on dialogue among followers of religions, civilizations and cultures. On the Palestinian issue, the newspapers highlighted Israel"s concern over the war crimes it committed during its war against Gaza and the support it lost internationally. On Iran, the newspapers accused the Iranian intelligence of causing crises in the region saying that security and stability in the Arab Gulf is part and parcel. The newspapers demanded that Iran stop its attempts to undermine the stability of the region. --SPA
