A Kuwaiti plane was forced to land in an emergency situation at Tehran"s Imam Khomeini airport last night due to a technical malfunction. Iran"s News Agency "IRNA" quoted the Spokesman of Iran"s Aviation Organization Reza Jafarzadeh as saying that a Kuwaiti Airbus 320 took off from the airport en route from Tehran to Kuwait and minutes later the pilot contacted the control tower reporting a technical malfunction in the plane. The authorities took the necessary preparations and the plane landed without any incident, he said, adding that the plane resumed its flight to Kuwait after repairing the technical malfunction. --SPA
