Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al Turki, The Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) has met Dr. Mustafa Cagrici, the Mufti of Istanbul at the latter office. Dr. Al Turki was briefed on the office works and activities pertaining to Ifta, guidance and awareness to the Turkish Muslims. He then, visited the Süleymaniye Mosque, built in 1557 and restored in 1957. The Mosque was ordered by Sultan Suleiman First - the tenth Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. The Secretary General was briefed on the Süleymaniye Mosque and its annexes that includes a huge library with 120,000 volumes and 80,000 manuscripts in many different languages.
