Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz arrived in Cairo tonight on a four-day official visit. At the airport, Prince Naif was received by Egyptian Premier Dr. Ahmed Nadeef; Prince Abdulrahman bin Turki bin Abdulaziz; Egyptian Interior and Commerce ministers; Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Hisham Nazir and a number of Saudi Embassy employees and officials. Prince Naif was accompanied by Dr. Mosa'id Al Aiyban, the Minister of State and Cabinet Member; Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Zaynel, the Minister of Commerce and Industry; General Abdulrahman Al Rubai'an, the Supervisor General of Prince Naif's Office; Dr. Sa'id Al Orabi Al Harthi, the advisor to the prince; Dr. Osama Tayyib, the Director of King Abdulaziz University; Dr. Abdullah Al Othman, the Director of King Saud University and a number of princes and officials. In a press statement shortly after his arrival, Prince Naif expressed happiness at the visit adding that he would convey the King and Crown Prince's regards to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak as well as to Egypt's Prime Minister Dr. Nadeef and the Minister of Interior Habib Al Adli. Dr. Nadeef, in turn, expressed appreciation for Prince Naif's visit stressing that such visit would boost bilateral cooperation in a variety of areas including academic and scientific research. -- SPA
