Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz said that since its foundation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been keen on acquiring the latest scientific and technological developments in all fields while preserving its Islamic creed and Arab cultural identity and is working to make the Arabic language compatible with modern technologies. In a speech delivered on his behalf by President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology Dr. Mohammad bin Ibrahim Alswayel here today at the opening of the second international symposium on computer and the Arabic language, the king praised the city's support for the Arab content on the Internet. The king highlighted the kingdom's efforts to help the Arabic language to keep pace with scientific progress in the world. The king welcomed the kingdom's guests who are participating in the symposium wishing them success.
