Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received a telephone call from Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who thanked the king for his brotherly feelings and condolences to him and to the Indonesian people on the victims of the earthquake that hit Sumatra Island resulting in deaths, injuries, lost and damage. The president also thanked the king for the urgent relief aid the king ordered for Indonesia to confront the humanitarian situation and provide relief to the victims of the earthquake. The president also hailed Saudi support for all Muslim countries. During the call, the two leaders also reviewed Saudi-Indonesian relations and current Islamic and international issues.
