A Yemeni delegation headed by minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi flew on Saturday for Turkey, Saba news agency reported. The visit aimed to take part in the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund to be held in Istanbul on 4-8 October. The meetings will focus on the developments of global slump, measures to support speedy recovery of world stocks and economies, and the role of major economies to help the developing world. The topics of providing technical assistance for the IMF member states to face recession would be raised in the meetings as well. --
