Under the patronage of Switzerland's Federation President Hans-Rudolf Merz, the Conference of "King Abdullah's Initiative for Dialogue among Followers of Religions and Cultures and its Impacts on Disseminating Human Values" organized by Muslim World League (MWL) was opened in Geneva on Wednesday. In an inaugural speech, the Secretary General of the World Council of Churches Dr. Samuel Kobia congratulated Muslims on Eid al-Fitr, appreciating the participation of all in the conference, which brings people together. He congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his initiative for dialogue and his quest for disseminating the values of tolerance and cooperation far away from differences and conflicts.
