The Head of Ambassadors Group of Islamic countries in Switzerland and Azerbaijan's Ambassador hosted a luncheon party here on Tuesday in honor of Switzerland's President Hans-Rudolf Merz. The party was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Switzerland Hazem bin Mohammed Karkatli. During the party, they exchanged cordial talks and reviewed a number of issues of common interest between Switzerland and the Muslim world. In his speech, the Head of Ambassadors' Group commended the Initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for Dialogue between Followers of Religions and Cultures, noting that the initiative has been an example of constructive dialogue and represents the efforts of various Islamic countries including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for creating a spirit of tolerance and cooperation among different cultures and religions to ensure the promotion of peace, cooperation and understanding for all mankind. The attendees expressed their appreciation for this initiative and the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at all international and regional arenas and for the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Muslim world.
