Saudi Embassy in Mexico held here on Tuesday a reception party on the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a speech on this occasion, Saudi Ambassador to Mexico Munir bin Ibrahim Al-Punjabi emphasized the importance of this adorable anniversary for the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by its Founder - the late King Abdulaziz (May Allah bless his soul), also affirming the Kingdom's march of development until the prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier. He pointed to the important role of the Kingdom and its effectiveness at the international arena. The Ambassador noted that the anniversary of the National Day coincided with the opening of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), indicating that the King hopes that this university will be a beacon of science for the service of all humanity. He said that Mexico ranked third in terms of the number of students at KAUST.
